Why It Doesn’t Matter Where President Obama was Born….

Now that President Obama has shown that he is a real person and not an alien, what does this mean for our country? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

You know why? One of my twitter followers said something very poignant the other day, “I don’t know care where President Obama is from, we have people starving and dying everyday.” This statement put a lot of things in perspective. Why are we wasting our time wondering where President Obama is from, how he got into Harvard, is he qualified, etc.

The fact remains that aside from these ludicrous accusations, we have life and death public policy issues that need to be solved. People are experiencing homelessness, dying on our streets, and looking for hope with $1.00 in their hand.

This is not to say that people are doing well and making a decent living but their is a significant portion of Americans who are not economically stable in their everyday lives.

So all of this hoopla over proving facts over using our energy to create positive change, is not helping anyone. At the end of the day — the birther movement is creating chaos with racial motivations  instead of being apart of the solution.

We all rely on this administration for solutions for today’s most pressing issues. It’s not fun and games — this is a life and death situation. We cannot afford to divert our focus on something as trivial and petty as a birth certificate. Hopefully, we can now focus on the issues of substance and importance, so we can save lives.
